Globally adding a property

I am using Concept Design Entry HDL XL to capture schematics, and I was wondering if there is a way to globally add a property to each instance of the design.  I found a way to globally change a property, but not to add.  I don't think there is an option embedded in the program to do this , but I was wondering if there is a tool out there that will do this?  Does anyone know of a tool, or know an easy way to accomplish this?
