Via automatically assigning net

archive
archive over 18 years ago

Hi,

I am using Allegro 15.5.1, 610 Design expert.  When I am copying and pasting a via without assigning any net, it is automatically assigning net to the nearest plane. Is there any way to exclude the problem other than deleting the plane?? We need to paste a lot of vias where this is becoming a hindarance...

Thanking in advance,

Pavan.M

    Hi Hpattie,

I tried it, but it is happening the same. I took for the via that has a dummy net with retaining nets and pasted, then they stay only in dummy net.

    regards,
    Pavan
