I have two completed designs. I want to place both on one panel complete with all drill info. I can get artwork in but not the drill info. Any help would be appreciated

    Fistly, set the origin of both the designs to (0,0). Generate the drill files of both the designs from Manufacture->NC->NC Drill.
    Lets say that you now have two drill files ncdrill1.tap and ncdrill2.tap.
    Then, open the drill files of both the designs that will be available in your allegro design folder(s) of your current project(s).
    Copy the drill coordinates of the second design from your ncdrill2.tap file and paste it at the end of the first design file i.e ncdrill1.tap. Save the file and try importing it in any CAM tool, you should see the drill coordinates in a single panel.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for the reply. Would that cause the holes to overlap?

    I think your metion of the origin led me to the answer. I set the origin of each design to where they would be in the panel. This offset the holes correctly.

    You can change the offset of NC drill for your second design in the NC drill parameteres that can be found at
    Manufacture->NC->NC Parameters.
    Set the offset coordinated to your desired location of the second panel and generate the drill tap. The rest is as usual. Copy and past of drill coordinates as mentioned earlier.

    Best regards,
    Kishore

    This process is excellent. I hadn't even thought of it until it was brought up.

    One other additional thing, is the IPC-356 netlist file. Make sure you run that on the 2nd design after you've offset the origin. The fab shop should be getting that also, unless you go ODB++.

    Good day.
