Flash Shapes

In padstack editor, a Flash shape has to be specified.

Can anyone direct me to information about;

1. How to Flash shapes are created.
2. Definition of Flash shapes.

Best regards;
Ray Gauldin

    Flash shape symbols ( .ssm ) are created in Allegro: File => New => Shape

    They are generally stored in the packages library with the footprint symbols.

    Flash shapes allow you to create custom padstack features/polygons that can be used in pad designer in place of the standard padstack features such as circle, square, oblong etc...
