    Hello,

Reviving an older post because I have the same problem.

I have a colleague with Protel 99SE and would like to Import his design.  I have the OrCAD 15.7 Suite.  So I want to import his layout from Protel 99SE into OrCAD PCB Editor (Designer) 15.7 .   I don't have OrCAD Layout, which from older posts, seemed to have a Protel Import function.

I have asked my Protel using Colleague to export into PCB 2.8 ASCII and PCAD, but I get errors from OrCAD PCB Editor when I try to import these, and it fails...

Any help, would be much appreciated.

    Dan
