Flooded Padstacks on cooper areas

archive
archive over 18 years ago

Hi All,

I have a design with a lot of test lands. For some power lines the test lands should be flooded. Is it possible to define on Allegro (I am using Allegro 15.7) to define some as flooded and some as not flooded, or is it necessary to have different test lands for each function?

Kind regards
Gustavo

You could try to edit the property on the lands and change the DYN_ properties to get what you want. e.g. For a land not to connect to the shape you could use the DYN_THERMAL_CON_TYPE and change the Value to be NONE. N.B. these settings are not layer determined once set they apply to all dynamic shapes on all layers.
