Dynamic Shapes -SPB 16.0

I've been using dynamic shapes in 15.7 for quite a long time but they don't seem to work consistently in 16.0. In my application, I flood the bottom of the board with AGND and I find that while standard etch is cleared correctly, shapes that are present on the bottom layer do not void or some shapes will void & others won't. Any one see this behavior and how do you stop it?

I found my problem. Wouldn't you know it, it was in the Cadence documentation. :)) All I had to do was select the shape of interest, right click and raised the priority of the shape.
