Cannot change transparency with a script file

archive
archive over 18 years ago

I would like to adjust the transparency settings in PCB Editor using a script file. When I record a script during which I changed transparency, there are no commands related to transparency in the resulting script file. All the other commands are in the script file, but nothing about transparency.

I've also noticed that transparency defaults to 49% global and 39% shapes every time PCB Editor is started up, regardless of the setting when PCB Editor was shut down.

Can anyone help me?

I am seeing the same behavior. It appears an SR should be opened with Cadence to have them take a look at it.

Done. An enhancement CCR has been filed for both issues: transparency not appearing in script files and transparency resetting upon PCB Editor invocation.
