Allegro 15.7 bug?!?

archive
archive over 18 years ago

Hi all,
I'm using Allegro 15.7 and there is some stupid bug that ruined my work several times.
The problem: There is no snap. For example when I try to make connection from a pin allegro doesnt snap to this pin/wire/etc.  I dont know how to explain it better. I dont know what causes it either. After some time the damned snap doesnt work.
If anyone knows something about this pls help. I just cant save a new version of the file every 10 minutes

Ensure that you enabled the "Snap to connect point" check box when in route command.

    Best regards,
    Kishore

One of the guys here had this problem today. We never bottomed the precise cause but the fix was to exit allegro, restart and run DRC update.

    Hope this helps,

    Andy

To trouble shoot this problem when you encounter this problem check your find filter to make sure
it has pins selected. Also make sure as stated above you have snap to connect point.
And as a good practice download the latest ISR from sourcelink.
