DXF Output Control? Trying to Import to Microwave Office

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hello,

I am trying to export a DXF that I will then import into Microwave Office for an electromagnetic analysis.  MO supports DXF import, but not of POLYLINE entities with width greater than zero.

Is there a way to get Allegro to use only certain DXF entities when generating a DXF file?

Better yet, if someone has done this (Allegro out -> Microwave Office in), how did you do it?

With just the POLYLINE defaults out of Allegro, I get a bunch of POLYLINEs that are centered at the right place in the design, but the width information is not there.

Thanks,
Len
