Orcad PCB editor 16.0... big problem !

archive

After several hours of work on my **.brd file I can't save it, I can open it but can not save any new change I get the following error: Program has encountered a problem ans must exit. The database will be saved (if applicable). Obtain the latest sofware update from Cadence and if problem persist contact Cadence Customoer Support Someone know what to do with it ?

    You might try:

Open Allegro in the folder your file is at. You don't have to open the .brd file.
    Type shell (carriage return)

    type dbdoctor

See if Allegro can fix the file. It should give you some message.

    Almost forgot, type exit
    Good luck.
