Global trace width change

Is there a way to quickly change all of my 5 mil trace widths to 4.5 mils. I am using Allegro15.7 Performance L. There are several other line widths I need to maintain, but it seems like there would be an easier way than changing the with a temp group or 1 by 1.

There is a quick way to change the trace width. Click the Edit in tool bar and also click the Change button. It enables the change command. Make sure that, Enable the clines filter at the Find and Enable the Line width at the Options window in the right corner of the Editor. Now you can click on the specified trace you have to change one by one or can use temp group or just select whole board by a dragging if you need all the traces to be change.

    Hi,

There is a script file to change the trace line width globally. I am attaching the .il file, copy the file in the board folder.

Run the following commands on the command prompt.

    Type
    skill and Enter
    Type load "cwidth.il" and enter
    Type exit and enter
    Type cwidth and enter

You will get pop up window and it shows the below information in three rows.

    SOURCE LAYER
    SOURCE SEGMENT WIDTH
    NEW SEGMENT WIDTH

Select one by one signal layers for the 1st row; present trace width for the 2nd row and required trace width for the 3rd row.

Please note down you have to type only GREEN coloured text and there is space between LOAD and "cwidth"

    All the best.

I didn't get the pop up window. The command prompt shows "Command not found". I copied the file in current working folder. Is it correct?
