Package Symbol Error

Hi While creating package symbol for lqfp64, I am getting error as " Create symbol started. SECTOR TABLE NOT EMPTY 0 SECTOR TABLE @25765252 SECTOR TABLE NOT EMPTY Create symbol aborted. Create Symbol Aborted, error = SECTOR TABLE NOT EMPTY " Please tell me how to resolve this error.

    Check database(DBdoctor) .After that work fine.

    I'd suggest executing dbdoctor on the symbol. See Sourcelink document 1813821

    I seem to remember having an error similar if not the same. It was created by modifying package boundary or copper shapes and got itself all confused. I found that saving the .dra exiting the tool and reloading the .dra allowed the symbol to be created.

    Yes, get this all the time with translated symbols (PADS to allegro)

    Run Tools/Database Check (check both boxes to the left side of the pop-up); RUN

    This will solve the error.

    BTW, it's the PLACE BOUNDRY that gets the problems. Database check (check all shapes) seems to solve it.
