    Edit properties allows you to add, delete, or modify properties assigned to the element selected. For example, if you selected a net, you could add a fixed property, or set a max via count.

    Hello ,

    Whether these properties are considered as constraints ....for example as it is said above whether setting a property max via count for a net will be treated as a constraint for that net while routing ?

    Regards,
    Prajakta.

    If you set Max via count to 3 for a specific net, and then add a fourth via to that net, you will create a DRC error (EV). Most properties or constraints in the system, will allow you to violate them, but will give you warnings or errors when you do. I hope this helps.
    Regards,

    Hi,   How to delete the default drawing properties in allegro footprints?. When  press 12 and view the drawing objects defined property some default properties are showing like FP_NOTES_TEXT_BLOCK = 10
       FP_REFDES_TEXT_BLOCK = 10
       FP_ROOM_NAME_TEXT_BLOCK = 10...  Please provide solution to delete those properties.

    According to the Cadence documentation these properties are “Allegro PCB SI internal properties and is not accessible to the user” so you will not be able to modify or delete them.

    Hope this helps,
