Trouble finding a librarian

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hey all!

My company has been searching for a Cadence Librarian -- someone to handle package entry, part creation, ptf database management -- along with basic PCB stuff... some routing, panelization, fab drawings etc. etc. etc. for some time now. So far, we haven't had much luck at all.

Does anyone in the community know of either a good contract house, or a place to search for this type of position? We are looking for a hire either locally or someone who would work from the far east (China, India, etc).

Thanks...

Matt Skogmo

Echo your message at : icu-pcb-forum@freelists.org

I'd expect you'd get many responses, hundreds of folks having the skills you require have lost their positions to outsourcing over the past few years.

I know that Freedom CAD offers librarian service. Usually contract librarians are very expensive. I have never used them but my customers have.
