DRC Error not Flagged

Hi All I am using PCB Design 220 (PCB Studio). I have noticed strange behaviour of PCB Editor tool. If two components pad(say resistors)connected to same net are being overlapped, DRC error is not flagged by it. Is there any other constraint to be set?

    There's a DRC for Pad-Pad Connect that can be set - if set it will allow 2 pins of the same net to have a direct connection and NOT flag a DRC. This can be found in the Physical Constraints
