Gerber Generation Errors

Hi All I am using package symbols having oblong drill footprints. I have defined ncroutebits file as per drill legend data. While gerber generation, I am getting error " ERROR: Artwork can't use standard geometries to flash these odd-rotated (not 0,90,270,180) pads. This design requires the use of ROTATED APERTURES." 2. It is showing error for oblong pads No aperture for OBLONG - 7.0000 X 3.0000 at (283.9803 283.8970) Rotation: 61.571" As per my knowledge, in ncroutebit file we define only drill info not the pad info. 3. Warning Message "Photoplot window exceeds film size." I increased film size 2 times, 5 10, 20 times. but still same warning message. I have attached log file for explanation. Please guide me what I am missing here.

Have you tried RS-274X format instead?

Hi in yout padstack, are you using a flash by any chance? I find these are the commonest reason which gerber fails. normally taking the flash value out tends to solve the problem.

Hi Stephen & Redwire Thanks for your concern. There is no flash padstack being used in design & using format gerber 6x00, gerber data can be generated. While gerber generation under film control tab select "use aperture rotation" for the respective layer.
