Allegro Create Fanout

Have always either manually fanned out components or used Specctra, but we are experimenting with the Allegro Create Fanout on some new designs and have a few Q's:

1. Can the fanout via grid be controlled in any way?
2. Can a specific via be assigned by Component or Symbol in the constraints?
3. Create fanout seems to disregard clearance constraints - is this a bug, or is there some other control we need to apply (inserts fanout vias through smt pads of components on the opposite side)?
