How Resistor Array SIGNAL_MODEL

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Dear Friends,

How can I assign the SIGNAL_MODEL for a resistor_array/network with four resistors ( 8 terminals) inside the package. If one resistor is used DE HDL or Allegro can generate the models automatically. How can I define it from the schematic library( part developer)?

Thank you for your answers, Regards

Use Setup Advisor.  On Signal Model Assignment dialog select "Create Model" and follow dialog to define an ESPICE device.

Here is an example ESPICE model for 8 terminal, 4 resistor device:

    (8P4R_0402_22

    (ESpice ".subckt 8P4R_0402_22 1 8 2 7 3 6 4 5
    R1 1 8  22
    R2 2 7  22
    R3 3 6  22
    R4 4 5  22
    .ends 8P4R_0402_22" )
       (PinConnections
        (1 8 )
        (8 1 )
        (2 7 )
        (7 2 )
        (3 6 )
        (6 3 )
        (4 5 )
        (5 4 ) ) )
