Routing not possible from pad in supply net

archive
archive over 17 years ago

hi, While routing the supply net from IC pad,the track does not get connected either from pad or from track. It remains in hanging position. while if net is highlighted the related unrouted pad & routed paths get highlighted. It happens only for few pads like of IC & Cap. All other get connected. can anybody tell the reason behind this behaviour of routing & solution for it.

Check for a route keep out area associated with the unconnected pads.
    Regards,

Do you have DRC set to NOT allow the trace to connect? Sometimes if you have DRC set to "not allow" routing, you can't route. Click on "allow DRC" when trying to route, and see if that makes a difference.

    Good day.
