PSpice - Tip of the Week: Want to run advance analysis on selective components only?

If you want to prevent running advance analyses on a component, you can do so using the TOL_ON_OFF property.

In the schematic design, attach the TOL_ON_OFF property to the device instance for which you do not want to perform the Sensitivity and Monte Carlo analyses. Set the value of the TOL_ON_OFF property to OFF. When you set the property value to OFF, the tolerances attached to the component parameters are ignored, and therefore, the component parameters are not available for analysis.

Note : In case of hierarchical designs, the value of the TOL_ON_OFF property attached to the hierarchical block has a higher priority over the property value attached to the individual components. For example, if the hierarchical block has the TOL_ON_OFF property value set to OFF, tolerance values of all the components within that hierarchical design will be ignored.

Let us know if you use any such tips with PSpice or you want to know about something....
