How to copy-paste waveforms from the PSpice Probe window to a Word document

In PSpice, you can copy-paste waveforms into MS Word, WordPad, or MS PowerPoint using the Window > Copy to Clipboard option.

  1. After the simulation run is complete, display the waveform in probe using the Trace > Add Trace
  2. From the Window menu, select "Copy to Clipboard". The Copy to Clipboard form pops up.
  3. The “Use screen colors” option is checked by default. Click OK; this will copy the image onto the clipboard. Paste the waveform into the required Word document.

You can select the following options depending on the desired display:

a. Background: make the window and plot backgrounds transparent

Use this option to retain the Word document page color as the background for your waveforms.

b. Foreground: change white to black OR change all colors to black

It makes the window and plot backgrounds transparent and allows you to have a black and white document.

Tip: Turn off "Output window" and "Simulation status window" from View. This improves the image size while pasting the waveform.
