When trying to use the fuse for overcurrent protection, I keep running into errors where close to the current limit it will cut off the supply when current should still be flowing. Is there a way to stop this?

What are the errors that you are getting, from the image it looks like tool has calculated and displayed the bias voltages and currents.

Can you share the screenshot of the errors you are getting.

Its not the fact that I'm getting errors in the output. The current is supposed to cut off when the it goes above 2 Amps, because that is what we set the Fuse too, but instead the current cuts off before then. As in this case, the circuit becomes an open circuit when it the output goes above 5.1V and when the current goes above 2 Amps. The problem here is that the the voltage is under 5.1V and the current is under 2 Amps (its 1.66A) and the circuit is still becoming an open circuit cutting off the flow of current.

Also when I set the fuse to have a current limit of 1 amp, the fuse works as expected (Open circuit when the current exceeds 1 amp and closed circuit below that). However if I set the fuse current limit to 2 amps the fuse trips at lower current such as the 1.66A.

Do I need to change the fuse parameters or model a new fuse to get rid of this occurrence?
