PSpice modelling parameter limits

Hi!

I am trying to simulate the behavior of a commercial Power Mosfet using the Pspice modelling application.

I input the electrical characteristics provided by the supplier to generate the Pspice model.

The problem is that this Power Mosfet has a drain-source voltage (BVDss) of 1700V, but the maximun value for this parameter allowed by the Pspice Modelling application is 1KV.

Supplier Power Mosfet parameters:

PSpice modelling parameter limits:

When running de simulation, it can be obseved that the signal peak is clipped at 1000V.

Simulation parameters:

Could the parmeter limits be modified to achieve more realistic simulations?

Thank you very much,

Ignacio

Once you have placed the component on the schematic page. Double click on the placed MOSFET to open its properties and update the value of BVDSS to 1700. Save the properties and then try to run the simulation.

It should work now. Refer below image
