How to create Spice model for IR LED and simulate in OrCAD PSpice Designer

Dear Community,

I am currently working on a project that involves designing and simulating an IR LED. I would like to create the IR LED model and integrate it into a schematic design using the OrCAD PSpice Designer license.

Could you please guide me on whether this can be achieved? If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could share the detailed steps to create and simulate the IR LED within OrCAD PSpice Designer.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
Rohit Rohan

You can model any type of LED using PSpice Modeling application. Main menu 'Place > PSpice Part > Modeling Application > Diodes > LED' can be used to model an LED. Different parameter set values can be given as per user's requirement and can be placed on schematic to simulate the circuit.
