How to Pre-Assign Traces to Different Plots in PSPICE Before Running?

In PSPICE, I want to separate multiple traces into two different plots.

  • Current method: I draw the circuit, place the markers, Run PSpice, and when the Probe window opens, I click Add Plot to Window. Then I manually copy traces from one plot and paste them into the new plot.

  • Desired method: Before Run PSpice (i.e., before the Probe window opens), I’d like to assign each marker to a specific plot when placing it. That way, once I run the simulation, the traces are automatically organized into their designated plots.

Is there a way to set this up?

In Probe, use Window>Display Control and save the current display layout. This can be restored through Window>Display Control when the simulation is next run. Alternative, in the PSpice Simulation Profile, Probe, check the option for "Last Plot", normally set to "All markers on open schematics". The simulation does need to be run and the Probe display configured once for both these approaches.
