System Capture Injected Property DE-HDL not Visible

PIPE
PIPE 2 months ago

Hello All,

What is the way todo this in System Capture.

Currently only the Key Propertys are Visible by default and can be switched off.

In DE_HDL it reads the ppt_optionset.dat File.

I have played with this but unfortinatly this works on system capture.

Can you give me some instruction.

Thanks

Peter

If I understand the problem correctly, you are not seeing the injected properties in System Capture. If this is the case, check if the CDS_SITE variable is defined on the machine. Also, check the site.cpm file and ensure that the path to ppt_optionset.dat file is defined correctly.

    OKAY, thanks for the answer.

can you send me or describe here what the correct syntax for the path of the files part.ptf and the ppt_optionset.dat is.

i have also the problem that my part.ptf file is not read if all parts are in one.

In DE-HDL was the part.ptf in the symbol folder located, and my inspection tell me that this also worked in system capture.

i prever the part.ptf with all parts but unfortinatly this dont work currently, maybe you can help me.

    Big Thanks

    Peter

    site.cpm

    START_GLOBAL
    END_GLOBAL

    START_COMPBROWSER
    central_index_path $CDS_LIB/reflib/model_sym/lib_index
    END_COMPBROWSER

    START_CONCEPTHDL
    DEFAULT_PAGE_BORDER_NAME 'KRETZ_A4_SIZE__HORIZONTAL_V2_LOC'
    DEFAULT_PAGE_BORDER_VERSION '1'
    END_CONCEPTHDL

    START_CONSTRAINT_MGR
    AUTO_XNETS_USING_DML 'OFF'
    EDIT_PHYSICAL_SPACING_CONSTRAINTS 'OFF'
    END_CONSTRAINT_MGR

Try adding the directive for ppt_optionset as per the following syntax. Add this to your site.cpm file.

    START_CONCEPTHDL
    PPT_OPTIONSET_PATH '$CDS_SITE/<path_to_ppt_optionset>/ppt_optionset.dat'
    END_CONCEPTHDL

For example, if ppt_optionset.dat exists at $CDS_SITE\cdssetup, use the following:

    START_CONCEPTHDL
    PPT_OPTIONSET_PATH '$CDS_SITE/cdssetup/ppt_optionset.dat'
    END_CONCEPTHDL

Regarding ptf, are you adding the libraries and consolidate ptf to design through Edit > Preference? Or by defining CDS_SITE?
