How to keep hardpoints aligned while using Insight for Adams Car

I want three points to be aligned while I investigate the effect of moving one of the points on caster. The lower hardpoint is fixed in space, and the upper hardpoint is the one I'm moving.
I wanted to make sure that the middle hardpoint stays between these two points in essence, but I don't want to have to edit the template for that, instead I'd be like to be able to do it either via editing the assembly somehow or with constraints in Insight.
Is this possible?

Yes, but I'd strongly recommend touching the template and use a construction frame for that kind of parametric.

If you want to stick with hardpoints, you'll be doomed to create a custom macro to modify the dependent hardpoint whenever touching one of the other HPs.
I did that for templates that have an orientation convention (like having a hps_<HP_name>, hps_<HP_name>_ZP and hps_<HP_name>_XP)
We hacked the "acar standard_interface hardpoint" macro in order to check for existence of those HPs and shift them all at once with the same vector.
