How to create a Revolution in A/Car template...

I have x,y,z coordinates of a profile I'd like to make into a revolution in an A/Car template. In A/View I would just make a dummy revolution by picking points and then replace the points in the mod dbox. This seems (embarrassingly) like it's way to hard in Car so far. How are people doing this?

Hi Jim. There's no native support for revolutions in Car's template builder.
    I see a couple alternatives:
    1. Switch to View mode and build it as you described.
    2. Use the Command Navigator to create the revolution with a profile curve. You can create the curve as an "outline" which is parameterized to construction frames and/or hardpoints.
    3. Use the Command Navigator to create the revolution with "points for profile," where you supply a list of x,y,z coordinates.

    Hi Greg,

Yup, #3 above is what I got to. A little creative Excel work and I got in a format that eventually got me to the normal dbox. Thanks for taking the time...
