I'm attempting to model a moving ground in Adams/Car. A moving ground is for instance a suspension bridge or a floating bridge that is subjected to environmental excitation. Is there a method to model a floating bridge using the road builder module ?

I have the necessary excitation data signals that need to be applied to this moving ground. I will then subject this to a full-vehicle simulation to investigate vehicle dynamics. However, so far, I wasn't successful in finding any posts or threads that deal with this topic and I've hit a dead-end. Could someone please help or provide advice?

Depending on what you want to study the most basic simulation would be a 4 poster (i.e. no road, but single excitation for each wheel).

If you have modeled the bridge by let's say the buoyancy of the ponton elements, then you'd like to define the road being on these floating parts and drive your vehicle over this obstacle.
That is only possible with FTire and requires some manual preprocessing.
We used that in the past to model a rollover ramp which was hydraulically launching the vehicle in the air while it was passing the ramp.
