Running Forced Vibration analysis in ACAR about "Assembly" operating point

SCJoshi

ADAMS Vibration simulation through ADAMS View allows forced vibration about operating point set as "Assembly". However, in ADAMS Car only option available for Forced Vibration analysis is via "Script". How to perform an ADAMS Vibration simulation in ADAMS Car to match ADAMS View results.

Is there a script available which is equivalent to "Assembly" operating point?

    Hi,

For Adams Car full vehicle models, I am wondering why would you need assembly operating point. As per my understanding it is typically useful for systems like satellite etc where you would want to perform vibration analysis around the assemble point for example in space etc. For Car models, you would perform this using whatever the base analysis - e.g. static equilibrium, full vehicle event and then use this as operating point for performing vibration analysis. If you could provide more details on what you are exactly modeling in Adams View and want to replicate this for a full vehicle would be helpful to answer this more in detail.

    Regards,
    Rishi
