Looking for the Adams Car Command Guide

Is there an Adams Car Command Guide?

I'm looking from something similar to the one for Adams View located here:

nexus.hexagon.com/.../Adams_2024.1_Adams_View_Command_User_Guide.pdf

I found this on the documentation site but searching for command, but it only lists Command Guides for Adams View for each version.

https://nexus.hexagon.com/documentationcenter/en-US/bundle?cluster=true&exclude_metadata_filter.field=display-type&exclude_metadata_filter.value=inline&labelkey=prod-adams&q=command&rpp=10&sort.field=last_uploaded&sort.value=desc&fromSlug=adams

I'm going through an existing command file which includes acar and amech commands (so I have the same question for amech, but I understand this is a Car forum), and I'd like to review the command guide to understand all the options / arguments.

Thanks!

    Hi Tim,

The basic commands are the same all over Adams (View, Car, Mechatronics, ...). And the command guide you linked to is exactly that. (This is also found directly in the online help in html-format).

What you refer to as Adams Car commands is probably calls to Adams Car macros. (There are a lot of these). I don't think there is a complete guide for these.

What you can do is to look at the Command Navigator and see the different options when bringing up the dialog boxes for each command.

Most of the options should be self explanatory. If you need further explanations you would have to look at the online help for the specific element or functionality that the command is about.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Henrik,

Thanks for the info and the quick reply!  There are only a couple that I am looking at "acar toolkit adjust mass ..." and "amech template_builder control_system modify ..."  These are both self-explanatory as to their purpose and what the intent is for the specific arguments.

I was mostly asking to find out if there was another location i should be looking for references, but it sounds like that is not the case.

Again - appreciate the reply and info!
