ADAMS/CAR DOE for Bushings

Hi All,
I am looking to perform a DOE on a suspension assembly. What is the best way to do this? Could I use ADAMS/Insight to do this? I don't see an ADAMS/Insight plug-in for ADAMS/Car so I'm not sure...

The DOE is to try combinations of bushing rates at all inboard mounting locations. Since bushings are defined in ADAMS/Car as bushing files, could this be done as a DOE where the files get swapped?

I have access to HEEDS software, would that be good to use?

thanks!
joe.

    Hello Joe,

You have to look better for Insight in Acar :).

Maybe this link will help you:

    Oh yes, found it. Thanks!
Would insight allow you to change bushing files, or is it geared only toward changing numerical values?

If i remmember correctly, bushing is described in adm file for solver as spline, insinght is using factor to chnge value, afaik you are using one property file

Scale factor, offset and preload shows up in Insight as available parameters for the DOE.
If you want to change property files, it will take a bit more work.
