carbon fiber 0 90 epoxy and carbon fiber 11 prepreg

Hey everyone! I am looking for more information on these two materials within Adams. Within the helpfiles I do find the explanation for orthotrpoic and anisotropic materials and the neccessary constans (c11,c12,... E,Gxy,Gyz), but I'd like to find out if I can change the orientation of the fibres from 090 to maybe -45 45. And what does 11 mean in the prepreg material?

Thanks a lot in advance!

@Asaad Sellmann, your topics are confusing.  Are you using Adams or Patran? PCL is the Patran Customization Language. I can't help much with Adams, but will provides some basic composites material info.
Regarding directions, 11, 22, etc refer to the material directions. So 11 represents material properties in the 0 deg direction, and 22 represents material properties in the 90 deg direction. FEA codes use a "Material angle" to represent the direction of the 0 deg (11 ply) on an element. That's how you change 0/90 to -45/45 orientation. Not sure how this is done in Adams.

good question: why these Topic buttons appeared?
others may be wondering the same.
The system tries to "auto-magically" select topics based on the contents of your question/post . That helps assign them to appropriate topics and sub-topics.
Adams was added because you mentioned it in the message.
No telling why PCL and Customization as added....
Also you can manually add (or remove) topics
