Two new Tire error/warning messages in an A/Car full Tractor-Trailer...

I'm getting a couple messages I'm not familiar with in an A/Car assembly of a full Tractor-Trailer (NOT the MSC Tractor-Trailer). I'm just running the canned Static Equilibrium run...

This is the first message...

"The front/rear wheel/tire assembly has not been found"

I can see all the Tires for the model, and they appear to be in the correct locations.

This occurs later during the run...

 *********************************************** >> A/Car-MS Error>> AMS_GET_TIREDATA : wrong input parameters *********************************************** MODULE A/Car-MS ERROR MESSAGE
FUNCTION : VAR1251
PROBLEMS GETTING TIRE PARAMETER
VARIABLE ID : 6
TIRE ID : 1
** STOPPING ADAMS SOLVER **

If I poke through the adm file, there is no "TIRE ID 1" I can see. The Tire GFO's start at GFORCE/2.

The only place I see "VAR1251" and/or "VARIABLE ID : 6" is in some VAR statements in the testrig...

!
!        adams_view_name='testrig.rear_left_vertical_force'
VARIABLE/6
, FUNCTION = USER(1251, 1, 10)\
, ROUTINE = smartdriver::var1251
!

Any thoughts on what I screwed up now...???

    Hi Alexis,

I am. I'm in the process of chasing down a complaint by ACar about my Brake Rotor communicators...

WARNING: The following input communicators did not match with unique output communicators:
    trailer_brakes.cil_rotor_to_wheel_Trailer_F
    matched with: trailer_susp.col_Rotor_To_Wheel_Trailer_F
    also matches: Trailer_Duals_Fwd.col_Rotor_to_Wheel_Trailer_F

var1251 again. You simply have to love or hate it. Guess which fraction I belong to ?

    The solution was to re-route
    $assembly.testrig.front/rear_left/right_vertical_force to the tire-gforce.
I also had trials where I set set them to an arbitrary value. This works as long your tires don't loose ground contact and driver tries to driven them to keep the desired speed.

In your case I'd first check to use the current handling_tire.tpl from the acar_shared and use one of the .tir files from the shared, too. If that works try your own .tir and if it fails try running your tire wih the demo vehicle in A/Car. If that still fails, send it to MSC support.
