i have designed a chain. Now i want to remove a few links from the chain. is it possible within adams to remove an intermediate link and attach the other two remaining links without resorting to 3d modelling software.

    Hi Abhishek,
Are you working with Adams/Machinery ?
It is not possible to explicitly remove a single geometry from the mechanism created via Adams/Machinery.
In this case, it is required to modify(~re-wrap) the chain, while you can enter the desired number of link at the "Geometry" section of the chain creation wizard.

    HTH.

    Regards,
    Atul Kumar.

    Hi Atul,
I have modelled and assembled the chain using the NX software.
