---- START: ERROR ----
Error: GRAPHICS/47700012, EXTERNAL has been illegally defined.
External file = Adams.xmt_txt Part = R Element = road_shl
Error code = 1
Please verify that the referenced file is correct, and the format
is supported by Adams. Check the spelling of the file name and
the file protections. Also note that some external geometry files
are not backward compatible.

---- END: ERROR ----

The above error comes up and simulation fails when flex to solid contact is made. The flex body is generated using View Flex from a rigid body created in Adams View, then the contact is assigned between that flex body and another rigid body and simulation is run using a script generated from Adams Chassis (After the event is built the model is exported into View). How to rectify that error?

Hi, it seems that the error message is related to the road graphics statement, road_shl. Can you double check if you have the geometry file, "Adams.xmt_txt", present in your working directory?
