Can you have two separate material properties in different parts of the same component?

How to include material properties if you have some surface treatment in a localized region of the component due to which you will have two set of material properties for the same component? For e.g. induction hardening a region gives harder surface material but a softer core material, which thereby leads to different stress-strain curves for the same component at the surface and core.

Yes, you can specify different material properties for the same component if there is variation in properties. If you know the exact variation of properties, then you can specify the property variation using tables.
In the attached example, I have varied the Young's modulus along X axis.
