What makes up the total force in grid point force balance for SOL103?

All forces on a node are in balance, so when I output the grid point force balance on a node in SOL103, the 'TOTAL' contribution is the balance of the internal forces (beam/shell forces, MPC's etc). If there is mass associated with this node, then I understand that the 'TOTAL' is simply equivalent to mass times the modal acceleration. For SOL103 is the 'TOTAL' always equivalent to mass times acceleration or are there other components that could be contribution as well? (In other words, are there other contributions than the inertia terms which are not listed explicitly).

Related question: If I have mass points that are rigidly attached to a flexible structure (e.g. through a RBE2), the solution moves the mass points to reduce the number of degrees of freedom (if I understand correctly). To calculate the grid point force balance, is this mass always moved back to the original node??

Many thanks!

In sol103 Grid Point Force Balance contains the contributions due to Stiffness and RBE. Inertia tems are not included. There is no movement of mass. M-set (dependent) dofs are removed from the system of equations according to linear relations pertaining to rigid elements . The remaining independent dof equations are solved.
