CNN gray scale images for strain contour plots.

asam 11 months ago

Hello,

I am trying to run a CNN for my forging preform optimization, I would like to have a dataset of my strain contour plots in a range of x-y, is there a way to save the strain contour plots in the gray scale form directly from the result section?

I am trying to replicate the model similar to the one in the following published journal figure 3.

Thanks,

Vignesh nexus.hexagon.com/.../CNN_2D00_Based-Innovative-Preform-Design-for-uniform-strain-distribution-in-flex-spline-forgings.pdf

    Hi Vignesh,

in the color legend properties of Simufact Forming you can select to use a grayscale legend type. Combined with a black or white background this should get you close to "figure 3". You can set the colors of dies to black, too. If you have a 3d model, you can use a clipping plane with the "cut plane" option to see only the results in a specified plane.

I hope I got your question right. I did not make my way thru the whole publication.

    Regards,

    Christian
