The temperature difference between simulation results of Celsius and PowerDC tool

There could be some difference between the junction temperature of Celsius and PowerDC simulation results. Here is an example where the Celsius tool shows junction temperate as 1515.61ºC whereas PowerDC tool shows it at 1522.87ºC.

                          Celsius 2022, Junction Temperature is 1515.61 C

                      PowerDC 2022, Junction Temperature is 1522.87 C

In this case, although it has a 7ºC difference, the relative error is less than 0.5%; so, the correlation is acceptable. The slight result difference between Celsius and PowerDC is due to the default mesh settings.

There is a difference between the default mesh settings in PowerDC and Celsius tool. In PowerDC, the user-defined max mesh size might not be followed; that is why there are some changes done in the Celsius tool.
