Running a Sweeping Simulation in Celsius Thermal Solver

Once you have set the parameters in the Sweep Analyzer, perform the following steps to run a sweeping simulation:

  1. Click the Start Sweeping Simulation icon in the toolbar. Alternatively, select Simulation — Operation — Start Sweeping Simulation from the menu bar.
  1. The Simulation Confirmation window displays. Click OK to close the window and start the simulation.

The progress of the simulation is displayed in the Output pane.

Note: To stop the sweeping simulation, click the Stop Sweeping Simulation icon in the toolbar. Or, select Simulation — Operation — Stop Sweeping Simulation from the menu bar.

After the simulation run, a directory named Sweeping is created under the current working directory with a separate case folder for each case run. Each of these case folders contain their own .3dth, .tcl, and result files.

For more details on simulation, refer to Celsius Thermal Solver User Guide.
