Aligning far field pattern with User defined work plane Clarity3D Workbench

By default, the 3D Far field pattern is displayed at the origin of the WorldCS as shown below.

However, you can also view the 3D pattern at the origin of a user-defined coordinate system (UCS).

To do this, create a simple UCS by selecting WorldCS > Right Click > Add Simple UCS as shown below

Follow the steps to display the 3D pattern at the origin of the UCS.

  1. Display the 3D Far field pattern with geometry.
  2. Click the Align UCS icon  on the tool bar.
  3. Select the SimpleUCS from Align UCS dialog box and Click Apply as shown below.

The 3D Pattern is aligned with point of origin of SimpleUCS.
