What are the supported file formats in Clarity 3D Workbench?

The Clarity 3D Workbench supports 3D Full Wave Extraction & 3D Full Wave Spatial Mode Simulation of 3D geometries. 

The following file formats can be imported into Clarity 3D Workbench.  

  • Acis Files (*.sat, *.sab) 
  • AutoCAD Files (*.dxf, *.dwg) 
  • Cadence Infinity Project (*.gpj) 
  • Cadence package Files (*.brd, *.mcm, *.sip, *.txt) 
  • Cadvance Files (*.dbr) 
  • Cif Files (*.cif) 
  • DSN Files (*.dsn) 
  • ECXML File (*. ecxml) 
  • GDS Files (*.gds) 
  • IGES Files (*.igs, *. iges) 
  • NDD Files (*.ndd)) 
  • ODB++ Files (*.zip, *.tgz, *.gz, *. z, *.tar, and *.7z) 
  • PADS Files (*.asc) 
  • RIF Files (*.rif) 
  • STEP Files (*.stp, *. step) 
  • Sigrity Multizone Files (*. multizone) 
  • Sigrity Workspace Files (*. psix) 
  • SpeedXP Files (*.spd) 
  • Zuken CR-5000/8000 Files (*.pcf, *.ftf, *.mrf, and *. dsgf)

The Clarity 3D Workbench supports the following export formats

  • Acis Files (*.sat, *.sab) 
  • STEP Files (*.stp, *. step) 
  • All Files (*. *)

You can set the following options required for file conversion, importing, and exporting.  

Tools > Options > File > Translator
