Tip of the day – Changing scale of an imported 3D geometry by using Scale function in Clarity 3D Workbench.

Sometimes, you might need to change the scale of an imported 3D geometry to fit into your specific application. Parameterized models can be resized by changing the values of variables. For non-parameterized models, it requires a lot of manual effort. Therefore, the Scale function, available in the MCAD environment, is widely used to resize an imported geometry.

Clarity 3D Workbench offers a scale function, which can help you resize the imported geometry on all axes or a particular axis.

Example:

This Scale function should help you modify the imported geometries for your simulation.
