TopXplorer: New "Trace" block has no pin/net

Hi expert,

I'm a new user of Sigrity TopXplorer. 

When I open the example and add a new "trace" block, the trace doesn't show any pin/net. 

Is this a bug of the software or do I need to go through some steps to add the pin/net?

    Hi Tao,

    Greetings !

    The possible reasons why your TRACE block does not have pin/net connections are:

    1. You might not installed Cadence Sigrity tools yet

    1. You might not set the SIGRITY_EDA_DIR variable properly in your system Environment variables.

    You need to install Cadence latest Sigrity 2021.1 release and set this path for SIGRITY_EDA_DIR variable, as shown below.

    3. You might be using older TopXplorer tool.

    Please download latest TopXplorer tool and Cadence Sigrity 2021.1 tools at downloads.cadence.com. 

    FYI, The latest version available for TopXplorer is S030 and Sigrity 2021.1 is hotfix 05.

    You can check the above points to resolve the issue.
