How to assign multiple vendor IBIS models to memory blocks in TopXp PBA

Topology Explorer SystemSI – PBA (Parallel Bus Analysis) workflow provides a comprehensive environment for an accurate assessment of high-speed source-synchronous interfaces such as DDRx and LPDDRx.

In Sigrity TopXp PBA, a new option, Define Block Group, is introduced when placing IBIS models for memory. With this, you can assign different memory blocks to different IBIS models. You can assign memory models in different groups to different IBIS component models in a topology.

Go to the TopXp PBA workflow, right-click on the Mem IBIS block and select Define Block Group.

Next, click the Mem IBIS block and select Mem_Group1 to drag and drop a new memory block onto the design canvas.

Similarly, you can create multiple memory groups and assign multiple vendor IBIS models in TopXp PBA.
