DDR4 Report Generation in Topology Explorer

SimTech
SimTech over 2 years ago

Many Cadence Design Systems tools have the capability of creating .html reports right in the software, Topology Explorer is no different. To use this function, run the simulation at hand.

When the SSIViewer window opens right click on the result directory as shown below:

The Generate Report… function has many customizability options such as different standards for this demonstration DDR4-2400 was used.

Custom measurements can also be performed on DDR4 and other DDRx/LPDDRx memory devices using the generate report option.

In the Topology workbench > Customize Report window, you can customize various measurement parameters for DDR4 like Waveform Quality, DQ Mask, BER, and Delay. If your DDR device requires AC and DC thresholds, you can input them here. From the DDR4 report, one can understand about the pass/fail criteria for each measurement parameter based on the user inputs in Generate Report Window.

Further, you can refer the ‘Reporting DDR Measurements’ section in the following link to learn more about DDR measurements report.
