How to reuse SPD file settings in Sigrity PowerDC

In the latest Sigrity PowerDC, you can reuse the PowerDC setup from one .spd file to another. This includes settings like VRMs/SINKs/Discretes/DC-DCs. This feature will let you copy the settings from the .spd file that you will load into the existing layout file. To reuse the SPD file settings, do the following:

  1. Load a .spd file in PowerDC.

         2. Click Reuse SPD file from the File

        3. Import the .spd file from where you want to reuse the settings.

       4. The Reuse dialog box opens. Select the PowerDC Setup checkbox and click OK.

Settings like VRMs/SINKs/Discretes/DC-DCs will be reused in the original .spd file.

    Hello GDee1,

The 'PowerDC Setup' option is introduced in Sigrity 2022.1 release so upgrade to latest Sigrity 2022.1 or higher releases to see the option.
