Leakage Current

Hello,

I'm new to the software, I'm using PowerDC module to analyze a PCB board to find voltage drop. The board is actually built and populated and I'm seeing some current flowing in one of the traces that it shouldn't. Is there a way to use PowerDC or any module within Sigrity to simulate this current to understand/find the leakage path.

Thank you,

Power DC analysis in Cadence offers a valuable feature that allows you to visualize current density after performing an IR drop simulation. This capability enables you to gain insight into the current flow within your design, helping you identify potential issues and areas of concern. To learn more about how to access and interpret current density plots in Power DC, please refer to the following link: Current density in A/mm2 This resource will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to effectively utilize this feature and make the most out of your Power DC analysis.

    Cheers,
